The moment he mentioned that he was for weakening the laws against marijuana, he doomed his campaign in the GOP. Does anyone disagree with this statement?

In the eyes of the GOP, voting against the war is a sign of weakness.

The money thing did cause people in the GOP to pop their heads up out of the sand for a moment and then pop them back down in the sand, didn't it?
What does it mean? I'm not sure, very much as this is a media driven campaign and Ron Paul keeps ending up in the outer limits in the GOP. I keep hearing from the right that its a race now between Rudy and Mitt, with Fred tailing the pack. McCain is smoking fumes and Ron Paul just keeps showing up.

Well it's sure is a new day when a guy like Ron Paul can out of nowhere get cash real quick. Cash can level the playing field just by its sheer power. When I heard he was getting SO MUCH I realized what a great thing it is. It's already like being told to us that it's Hilary on one side and a big name Republican on the other. What I'd like to see happen is Ron Paul to get $100,000,000.00 in just a few months that would shake the hell out of traditional campaign and serve notice that THE PEOPLE really can push to the front who they want to. I'm not for or against Ron Paul but so be it goofy guy or not if the public says "Well at least he's not a Professional Fake Politician" What a statement for a guy who had no shot in hell to get a shot of cash like this to push himself forward, it really showed the power of the Internet and you can count on the Internet being the lead pipeline of cash into campaigns from now on. It's a good thing because a lot of simple people said I like him, but he was laughed at behind closed doors, but now the power of the net makes him not so laughable and by that shows people have power now that they can just PayPal him some funds. Nice Very Nice.

I'm sure the Powers that Be within the GOP are hoping that Ron Paul will help raise money for the GOP candidate.

I don't see how anyone with a brain could vote for Ron Paul. I agree with his stand on marijuana but other than that...please.

This "send it to the states" garbage about abortion is just another attempt to take away a woman's right to choose. STATES don't have the authority to take away my reproductive rights the same way that STATES can't take away my right to vote, my right to free speech, or any other rights.

Ron Paul says that he does not "accept evolution as a theory." That shows a woeful level of willful ignorance. Evolution is not the least bit controversial in the scientific community, and anyone who says that they don't "accept" it is a nut case. That's like saying that you don't accept germ theory or gravitational theory.

I'm glad that Barack Obama will be the next POTUS.
