And before you keep spouting off this nonsense like in the thread you started about his "stance" on issues (like abortion and net neutrality), make sure you know what you're talking about.

Political positions of Ron Paul - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Education
Rep. Paul has asserted that he does not think there should be any federal control over education and education should be handled at a local and state level. He opposes the federal No Child Left Behind Act, voting against it in 2001 and remaining opposed to it as an ineffective federal program.

Abortion
Paul is pro-life, and calls himself an "unshakable foe of abortion." He believes that, for the most part, states should retain jurisdiction - in accordance with the federal Constitution.

Yes, he personally believes it's wrong, but it would go against the entire philosophy of a Libertarian to make abortion illegal on the federal level. You say part of his stance on an issue, but leave out the most important part each time. You, sir, are spinning the facts.

I agree with Higherlogic.

You only post on part of the decision without the reason behind it, which is the most important part.

What the hell are you talking about you cant rely on history Trocrisp. All the time we see that history repeats itself. BTW Ron Paul really does have a 100% voting record.

Next I would like to explain to you Cropist about the bridge to nowhere.

The bridge is what I like to call 'creationist economics'. We will build a bridge to an airport with basically nothing around it. Its land connected now so in theory the economy will flourish.

Versus

'evolutionary economics' - If there is enough private interest there to build the bridge someone will build it just to make money. Kind of like if they found oil out there or built something like Vegas the casino or oil company would build the road.

I mean still your call though but 'creationist economics' makes about as little sense to me as creationism. While 'evolutionary economics' makes as much sense to me as the theory of evolution.

So you'd rather vote for Hilary the socialist who accepts dirty money and will waste billions of dollars in tax money than Ron Paul because from what I take it, he's going to build a different kind of wall along the Mexican border. You keep saying you disagree on many of his other stances so please, let's debate them and compare them with Hilary.

Hilary has a chance to win......you'll see ice cubes in Hell before Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination. He's the Dennis Kucinich of the GOP...nice, well mannered, likable, yet not taken seriously. He's the entertainment before the main event. He's the cartoon before the movie (some of us know what I'm talking about).
BTW......they ALL take dirty money and waste billions of tax dollars.

Did you know Ron Paul wants to eliminate the Federal Education Board?

Before you vote for a candidate for one issue, make sure you agree with all of his stances, not just his position on drugs.

Please note I am not trying to be offensive just wanted to point this out...

Do you know what kind of terrible shape our national education system is in. I am a recent high school graduate and I was told that during my entire high school "career" that high school was there to prepare me for "the real world". I don't know if there was some crazy inside joke I was not in on, but that is the farthest thing from what it does. The only thing public school does it teach subordination and instill the idea that you need to follow orders. Our current education system does not facilitate free thought, it only encourages following what you are told. There is no room for differing opinions. People wonder how so many people can ignore the mistake made by politicians and tolerate these overbearing freedom-depriving drug laws; the answer is, we don't educate Americans to think critically. We educate our children to say yes sir, do their job, and assume that they were told what is best for them. I agree with Ron Paul on almost all issues except I am Pro-choice. But still having a competant President who wants to allow freedom of thought to the states and moreso the American people has my vote. Whether or not he has a "chance to win" means little to me. I don't vote for something I hate the least. I vote for what I think is right. I encourage every American to do the same. Personally I plan to enter politics because there are many things wrong with America that so many people either refuse to fix or choose to ignore hoping they will just go away by themselves. Unfortunately this isn't high school, this is reality and things just don't change, people need to stand up and make those changes happen. Again I don't want to criticize, just to facilitate conversation. Thank you for reading and I look forward to responses.

Maybe you should vote for the lesser of two evils. Case in point......the Green Party people in Florida in 2000 voted for Ralph Nader (96000 of them) and ended up with GW as a president. The Green Party people would have had a more eco-friendly person in the White House with Al Gore as president.

Ron Paul is a republican candidate, and he doesn't support building a fence. He stated he believed the idea was ridiculous. He wants to encourage legal immigration by increasing the economy by getting rid of wasteful government programs. I can think of one good one hes going to get rid of the DEA.

And Ron Paul has been leading up to this moment by saying exactly what he believes is constitutionally legal in regards to federal government consistently for decades. It's all a ruse!!!

Ron Paul has an ad running in High Times and will be on the cover of the January issue of Cannabis Culture, btw.
