Just keep watching and you'll see. Ron Paul will slide away into nothingness. In November 2008, if you ask someone about Ron Paul, they'll say "Ron Who? Wasn't he one of the Beatles?"

I just watched that Mitt Romney video and was disgusting, another fucking smiley glad hand pompous pig politician. Not to mention an inconsiderate prick.

Thanks for posting these videos, Herb Ninja. That was pretty disturbing. I'm voting for Ron Paul in the primary regardless of whether he's a long shot.

It's true. Mitt's a slick politician. He just oozes politician and when you hear him talk, you hear a politician.

PS....If Ron Paul's name is still on the ballet when the primary comes around to your area, VOTE for him. I would just love to see the GOP higher ups squirm in their leather seats.

Are you suggesting that rich elites with a highly vested interest will be honest and open people. HAHAHA sorry, but that was a good one. Last time I checked roughly 1% of the Earth's population controls like 90 something percent of the worlds wealth. How do they do it? I highly doubt its honestly. Even so, if you really believe those elites do not control atleast those initial primaries you must have been smokin something real good. There are easy ways to hack voting machines and rig elections...its been in the media quite often, and if thats true, then its probably happened already. Not to harp on ol' Georgie, but hes an incompetant, illiterate, sociopath who, most likely is nothing but a puppet, but I'll leave the Bush rant to another thread.

If i'm wrong, which is possible, there is still a vast amount of people that can be swayed to do things they wouldn't, but that is a luxary for those elites, those who have Mr. Franklin do the talking. Not trying to negative because Paul has my vote, republican candidate or not, but him winning is a far shot. If you watch Cnn/Fox/(Insert news channel here) you will hear lots of buzz about the Presidential race. You will hear alot about the front-runners, but I would bet with 99% confidence that Ron Paul gets no more then 30 seconds to a minute mention a week while Hillary, Obama, Romney, and that joke of a candidate Huckabee (He looks like a beaver in an oversized suit) get the bulk of the attention and coverage. There is a reason advertisements use repetition to get there products across (ex. Headon). Repetition gets information into your head where it will be remembered longer and be recalled easier. Due to this, it is fundamental psychology that tells us that these candidates with extra time have an advantage.

In addition there are all the political factors that go into a race of this magnitude. I hope to God that Ron Paul is our next President, but don't expect it unless you have just had some real good headies and are watching a fake movie about people becoming President, but then again, the possibility for that is pretty grim too. I encourage everyone to Vote Ron Paul for President. But I wouldn't seriously encourage anyone to expect him to win. There is always room for hope and miracles, but miracles don't always just happen sometimes they take work. Especially if those miracles include megatons of pressure against them from people who would pay top dollar to make sure Ron Paul doesn't make it into office. There is a lot that can be said if you want to get into rich elites that control things, but that is an entirely different topic. Thank you for your time, Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays, and Stay Safe

Most of us only know stuff about the candidates because of the reporting of the media. The media can shape or break a candidate. To put it more bluntly.....If Ron Paul gives a speech in the woods and no one is around to hear it...did he actually give the speech?

I heard Paul said he was done after the first caucas. But he is the only candidate who would actually make a change I think. I don't feel he is in it for the power, unlike all of the frontrunners, but would use it to help people more than any others. A true leader FOR all people who does not stand a chance SOLELY because he refuses to conform. shame

Theres just too much at stake to give it to Iowa and NH. The 12 people in Iowa and the 57 people in NH shouldn't allowed to determine who runs this country.

Romney truly is the stereotypical politician. I live in Mass., where he was governor for 4 years. If you look at what he did during his tenure as governor of Massachusetts(a liberal cesspool), and then at the Romney who's running for President, you'd swear it was two different people. He knew he had to appear to be just barely liberal enough to be able to win the election as a Republican in a very liberal state, and now that he's decided to run for the presidency, he knows he has to appear far more conservative in order to get the nomination. Not enough people seem to realize this.

Romney is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and I will be extremely disappointed if he gets the Republican nomination.
