Default Anybody else watch the Faux (fox) debate?

Personally I though Ron Paul was slam dunking the bs questions they were asking him, an interesting note though...

That little panel of 18 likely republican voters said they thought Thompson won the debate (12 of 18), all but 2 or 3 thought Ron Paul lost, in fact they raised their hands so fast I could feel the wind through the tv.

Now the text mssg polls are coming in, they show Paul in a dominating 1st place with 35%, which is a 17% lead over 2nd place.

Where do they pick their "focus" group panelists, Thompson's campaign?

Agreed, I've pretty much always seen fox as biased, they may not do it directly (who could in the public eye?), but they clearly shuffle along any topic they don't agree with (I honestly blame uniformed Americans for this). All you'd have to do is watch that channel for one day to realize they don't clarify any important issues.

There really isn't any excuses anymore, if you're misinformed you simply are lazy. The role that the internet plays has grown 100 fold since the elections before bush. They used to say television was the greatest thing to happen to presidential hopefuls, the internet dwarfs that by leaps and bounds.

I don't think the mainstream media will be able to successfully black out the candidates they don't favor for much longer.

Whether or not Ron Paul becomes a major player, there are several thousand people voting for him in the primaries that are now thinking for themselves.

If you're one of those people that is voting for the face they see most often on the news, I feel sorry for you, you're being played like a violin.

Thompson is the only true conservative running for the GOP. However, they're looking for someone who can beat Hillary, or a potential Clinton/Obama ticket, so i feel that Ole' Johnny Mac will win the nomination. If he resides in La Casa Blanca for the next four years you can expect more of what we have now. "Here comes the new boss, same as the ...............".

If John McCain wins, we'll have at least 4 more years of war in Iraq and since sitting presidents have a good chance of getting re-elected, we could have 8 years of war in Iraq. Anybody willing to venture a guess on the cost of the war if it goes on 8 more years?
