| I just came across this website with information relating to a woman who received a face transplant. Her face was pretty much obliterated from a gunshot wound and surgeons gave her a face from a deceased donor. Makes you wonder. She still has a few reconstructive surgeries still after the most recent photos had been taken. It just shows you how our understanding of the human body is moving forward. It isn't perfect, but transplanting a face presents many biological issues since the face is extremely complex. Warning: If you don't like seeing disfigured people and such, don't enter the link. It isn't that bad though, but I thought I'd just give you guys a heads up. Face transplant -- Newsday.com

| Yeah, our medical sciences are far from perfect, but we're getting there. Can only imagine how things will be in 500, 1000, or even 5000 years. Assuming our species progresses that long, hah. |

| I know I'm probably going to hell for this, but doesn't she look kind of like the comic strip character "Cathy"?

| Hooray, she can enjoy her favourite scents again. Her new nose works as more than a decorative hole, doesn't it? |
