Awesomeness.

Here I am having all this headache about trying to provide evidence of God over there in the religion section, when I coulda just played this video and had a better effect. It all seems so amazingly complex, so uncomprehendingly big, so fantastically perfect in design....from the largest galaxies, nubulae, and black holes, to the tiniest atom, everything working perfectly in harmony with everything else. A symphony of dimension, sounds, lights, energy, and matter, all brought together in just the right way.

And somewhere, in all the ordered chaos of the universe, at the edge of an unassuming galaxy, a tiny blue pearl of a planet took shape at just the right distance from the sun. Not too hot not too cold. Water was provided. Then the Moon to help with seasons, tides, and gravitational force. And life began. And we came. As far as we know the only sentient beings who look up at the stars and wonder...

It all just seems too perfect to me to be chance...

heh heh, the universe is big enough as it is! Plus we already have the possibility of like an infinite number of parallel universes. Maybe they are the other brain cells in the brain we inhabit? Whoa I just blew my mind and wiped out like 10 trillion universes on accident.

Maybe we're one of God's brain cells. Maybe our world is just His dream...

Bah...this type of crazy talk belongs in the philosophy section.

It is no wonder humans naturally like to explore an altered state of consciousness. It's far too difficult to comprehend for the average mind without a bit of help.

Meh, that may be part of the reason. But actually people seek altered states of consciousness because we like it, which isn't a trait that belongs to humans alone. Animals love consuming plants and toxins that get 'em stoned too. It just feels nice.

How Common Is It?
Not very. Narcotic lichen is rare and only grows in some desolate parts of the Rockies. Barring the creation of some sort of sheep-based drug cartel, addiction rates should remain low.

this video is amazing. in no way could i see humans ever being able to comprehend what really is going on in our world. the brain cell to galaxy comparison at the end is insane. im at a loss for words as usual and id rather not think about it.

all i know is i just want to enjoy my life...why have worries? i try to avoid/forget about things or even just thoughts that would bring me any serious reason to worry. we're here to live..so make the best of it. ive found that some of the greatest times ive ever had have been when ive put everything out of my head and just enjoyed nature and the people around me.

i think theres more to life and space than just what we see but its way above my head. we wont ever really know until our lives our over. where will we go? are we wiped away forever after we die? whos to say we have a spirit that lives on? we wont ever understand while we're living atleast unless i myself witness an act of a higher power.

i think its best to just make sure youre happy and get a chance to enjoy nature every once in a while. its really fascinating...even just wandering an acre of woods im left in awe. everything works together, feeds off itself. plants and animals live in symbios...and it seems like humans just screw it up with the greedy things we do, but we cant help it. its human nature.

religiously, honestly i dont know. its way above my head and too many people believe too many different things. id like to just believe what i think and not listen to anyone else, but i havent really came to a conclusion about what my mind really believes yet.
