| It's crazy the kind of bonds animals can share with each other sometimes. Some of you have probably heard of the guy with a bear for a pet, but having a squirrel for a pet is much more common. Here's a video from the BBC. BBC NEWS | UK | England | Squirrel nuts over builder friend Here's a vid about that guy and the bear, also. Red Alert anyone?

| That's sweet. Animals can sometimes be so human like. That video kind of reminded me of this one: |

| I think it's more that we are ALL ANIMALS, so of course we have similarities and the ability to show emotions for one another! I don't think anyone should have wild animals as companions, unless they are helping them recover from an injury or something of that nature... I couldn't watch the video because my internet is a piece of crap, so I don't know what the story there is. My aunt and uncle cut a hole in their bedroom wall once because there was a squirrel who used to like to get into their house so they just let it come and go as it pleased, which was pretty cute.

| I've always had a good connection with dogs. Gotta find me a good yellow lab soon... I love those vids. That bear one is new to me. And I always loved the electricity surrounding that lion video. So incredible.

| I'd love to have an exotic animal as a pet, but I would undoubtly be afraid of the "wildness" of it. It'd be pretty bad ass though, to have like a lion or tiger or bear as a [friendly] pet. Or a penguin. Those seem pretty cool. |

| I love the story about the bear, and I just can't watch the story about Christian the Lion or I will cry again. I know animals are sweet souls, and it breaks my heart when people abuse them, or throw them out like the weekly trash. ![]()

| "Squirrel nuts over builder friend" omg when i read that i was like "WTF" at first, then i watched the video, thats pretty cool you can bond with any type of animal, no matter how "undomesticated" it is, show it love, true unadultered, caring love, and kindness, and it will show you love and kindness back EDIT: most of the time |

| I wouldn't be typing this if it were not for my best buddy, confidante, partner in whatever. I would be six-feet under. There are days when she pisses me off, and I'm sure the reverse is also true, but we're completely inseparable, man. ![]()
