| Keep it warm, especially if it does not have any feathers yet...depending on the age, you will have to find some worms, puree them, and feed them through an eye dropper...if its old enough you could just give it small worms. make sure you keep it hydrated...add some water to the pureed worms. Give it plenty of attention, if you can, make a feathered sock puppet and feed it with the sock puppet...good luck.

| if it can eat spaghetti noodles then it can eat whole worms, so don't worry about pureeing them...and don't give it any more spaghetti noodles either...you will have to offer it food at least four times every 24 hours, including night time. You can get worms at a bait store... |

| I've found lots of baby birds, let's see, I found a couple of swallows, a killdeer, and a cedar wax wing. After finding my first one I did some research about it online it turns out that the human scent on a baby bird thing is a myth. They say that if you just put the bird back where you found it, most likely mamma will come along and take care of it. One of the swallows I found had a broken wing, so I gave it to a lady I know and she delivered it to a bird sanctuary somewhere. The other one got put back in its nest. The killdeer chick wasn't lost or anything. Mamma and daddy build their nest on the ground and the chicks just run around. The chicks can't fly away so they're super easy to catch. I caught one and took it home to show the kids, then I took it back where I found it, set it down on the ground and it started screaming for Mamma who came to the rescue right away. The cedar wax wing was a victim of my cat. He has a very gentle bite though and no one was hurt. He just wanted to show me what he caught. I took it from him and held it for a little while. The poor thing was frightened and breathing pretty hard. After a few minutes I opened my hands and it flew away. That one was an adult, I guess. Anyway, I'm no expert or anything, but depending on what kind of bird you have, it's probably has a better chance of survival if you put it back where you found it. here's a helpful link with more info: What To Do When You Find a Baby Bird |

| ive been doing alot of research on this, and yes it is a myth... so i placed the bird back in the nest lilke 5 minutes ago, if the bird is on the ground again that means the mother was away from it to long and doesnt want it, if this happens i geuss ill take it into my care... |
