| Space aint as cool as you might think... Sure the Planets and stuff are cool, but the vacuum part is very dangerous. if you can get yourself in orbit and look out into space, you can really harm yourself. Gamma rays are constantly coming to earth, and if even one of those Mother F'ers get to you it could seriously damage your brain. or worse... and you cannot stop a gamma ray, only like a fucking !think! plate of solid lead could slow its ass down.. Ever heard of gamma knifes? Kills cells like a steak knife in butter. Quote:
But! space is awesome as well as very Fucking bad. I guess space is "Intense" Supernovas, black holes, comets, gravity from giant ass planets, Light itself is so many things. Gamma rays--X-rays--Ultra violent--VISIBLE LIGHT-- Infrared--Mirco waves--radio waves. MAN! I LOVE MY ASTRONOMY CLASS!! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...rties_edit.svg There is SO much we humans do not see, or are not aware of.... Quote:
Newtonian Mountain get the speed to around 15,000 mph then you got orbit.

| My favorite episode is the one about parallel universes. Never before had I thought there could be multiverses. |

| Last night I loaded a nice bowl and watched the new episode. It was about quasars and pulsars. Man things can be huge out there. Like Betelgeuse is massive. It can hold like half a billion of our suns inside of it. It's nuts! Betelgeuse is also relatively close to Earth. And scientists think it might go supernova within the next 1,000 years because it's 8.5 million years old, which is really old for that type of star. And scientists say it's decreased in size by like 15% or more since the early 90's. They said it probably won't effect us at all because of it's polar direction. |
