Default Kief from Wooden Grinder?

Hey All,

I have this cheap $10 wooden grinder I got down the Jersey Shore a little while back. While it's nothing spectacular, it gets the job done. My question is can you get the kief off a wooden grinder? I've noticed a fine powder collecting on the side, but I can't find a way to get it off. I should have some money for a nice grinder with a kief catcher soon, I just wouldn't want to see the stuff that's already stuck on the wood wasted.

Thanks

Absolutely you can. Kif is a particulate and it'll settle in anywhere it can.
Take any item (be creative) like a old credit card, cut a piece off it with a pair of scissors say 3/8 inch wide and use it to scrape the kif into a pile. Then take some kind of very small container. Glass is nice but anything with smooth non porous construction will do and put the kif there to store until you wish to use it.
If your wood grinder has a rough interior then you're destined to loose some kif to the tree gods but hey,
that's small price to pay for the pleasure eh...

Little paint brushes work great too. I mean the little ones, like the ones you use to paint pictures, etc. They get into all the little crevices.

I just got back from the Jersey shore! I also bought a grinder off the boardwalk for $35. It is so nice though and the kief catcher is so sick!

I know you'll love it as much as I love mine.

Trust me, I already do . We rolled 2 huge blunts yesterday for the celebration and one was lined with the keif that built up throughout the week. Easy to say that I was couch-locked right away.

Haha, when I bought my grinder, the guy at the surf mall was like "Is this for Senior Week?" I wish we did stuff like that, but I'm so close to Ocean City and Wildwood that it would be kind of a waste. Hope you had a good time.

Thanks for the tips too, I'll try some of them out. However, the next time I head to Wonderland in Philly, I'm getting a metal one with a kief catcher.

If you live so close to Wildwood you should just hit up the boardwalk and snag a nice metal one. I remember the Israeli guy who worked at the 'Dolphin III' which is just another store on the boardwalk. He hooked me up with prices and they have lots of secret pieces disguised as flashlight's and whatnot. It is pretty nuts.

Honestly, last night was the first time I ever smoked kief (3g blunt with week worth of kief sprikled on) and it knocked me out cold. Not literally, but I walked out of the session when we finished and fell asleep on the couch in a matter of minutes. Needless to say I better season up so I can stay awake during my next kief rip.
