Bumm

Ok so last night I smoked with some friends and we had 2 pipes going around and we smoked 5 bowls from said pipes. Heres the thing, I got high but even with 5 bowls over the night, i still would only call my high an 8 out of 10. Now im used to toking up with my bong. I've been at a 10 out of 10 many times after smoking only 1 bowl from it. When it comes to a pipe versus a bong a bong will definatley get you higher, or at least it does me. But I thought I would at least get to 10 cause of how many bowls we smoked. Anyone got a good explanation of what might be going on? The weed wasnt schwag or anything. It was chornic(which is what I usually smoke) and some peach smelling stuff that I can't remeber the name of.

I think it's probably in the volume of weed smoked to amount of time in which it's smoked. You can smoke a bowl in a bong a lot faster than you can smoke a bowl in a piece just because you can take much bigger hits. it's also the fact that the smoke is cooled in the water, and thusly denser (so you get more smoke for the same volume).

When you toke with your bong, do you toke by yourself? 5 bowls divided among 5 people means you only smoked one bowl...but did it over a more extended period of time. If you smoked an entire bowl to yourself by yourself, you would smoke it a lot faster than if five of you each had a bowl (with a rotation going).

Even though you smoked 5 bowls, divided up it could be less than what you get from one bowl in your bong, also it depends on how much the pipe's bowl holds too. People probably torched the bowl and burned a lot of weed when they did that so they took all the fresh bud in one huge hit (whoever hit first) so the rest weren't as potent, when you do it yourself, you get that whole hit yourself, or you corner it, and you get fresh hits each time plus a bunch to yourself. That is probably what had happened, when I smoke from my pipe I used to go through 2-3 bowls to get me an 8/10 now it takes me one and I get at least a 9/10 sometimes more from my bong.
