One thing I don't get about sploofs is, doesn't the smell escape from the joint itself anyway. I mean, I don't have any drier sheets to try this out that's why I am asking here, but. The only masked smell is essentially the one coming out of your mouth once you exhale. What happens to the smell of the joint itself which is not covered by anything. It would be hard to believe that you can neglect that, I mean that gives off odor too .... ?

Most people who use sploofs rip bongs and pipes.

use a pipe dude and just make sure its not smoking after you take a hit

Since a joint is constantly burning, its not going to remove the smell. The only way it would work would be to use a pipe/bowl/vaporizer/bong and exhale into the tube of dryer sheets. I spray cologne on them too, makes a nice smell with my vape. Maybe its all just placebo, but I can't smell a damn thing!
