What do companies put in the flavored rolling papers to make them smell/taste like what they do? I still can't help to think they are not as good for you as normal papers.

I use Zig Zags they burn clean. No after taste and are easy to roll with.

I used to use Zig-Zags until I realized they didn't burn as clean as I thought. Set one on fire without anything in it one time and watch it burn (it burns really fast so let go of it quickly). Then see what's left behind, a bunch of white nasty stuff. I switched to all-hemp papers with no gum, they burn clean and when you light them they disappear completely. I noticed that the bud tastes better and they burn nicer too. Not much for flavored papers or blunts, the bud has all the flavor I want

hemp papers might burn cleaner, but i think they rip too easy, making them unsuitable for rolling.
the only flavored papers i know are blunt wraps that come in flavors, and those taste good, but, as all blunts, do have a lot of paper smoke.

I cannot smoke those fake blunt wraps; who knows what the hell is in those things. I swear it's like cardboard paper with a bunch of chemicals. They give me headaches actually, I just call them chemical wraps. The only blunt I will smoke and can smoke is Backwoods. They're 100% all-natural tobacco leaf, not those fake blunts like the wraps or any of the other ones. You've never seen flavored joint papers though? They come in literally hundreds of flavors but they really take away from the taste of the bud.

Papers are taxed to all hell up here. Its about 7-8 $ for cheap rolling papers. Everyone up here uses dutch's and blunt wraps. (I have never ever had a problem with a royal blunt wrap, just dont use all the paper they give you) I personally have never had a problem with a vanilla or chocolate dutch. (other than the occasional stale dutch because you bought it from the worst gas station around). Then again a lot of people use bongs and bowls too.

Damn! You pay more for papers than most people do for cigarettes (in Arizona it's $5 for a pack, then again in New York it's like $7-8). Papers around here cost anywhere from $1-4 depending on what size and how many come in the pack, but most average at $2. Ouch man, ouch!

Which is exactly why we dont use papers :-) Almost the whole price of it is state tax. (A pack of cigs cost about $5-6.50)
