I've smoked a resin ball a little less than 1/3 the size of a dime with two other people and I was blasted. My tolerance was a lot lower than, because it was within my first month of really smoking. But I completely dorked out, and my other buddies were pretty high too. So, depending on your tolerance, you may not need very much...especially if you're smoking solo.

So I broke my arm once and I needed surgery for it to heal properly. During surgery they put a pin in my arm. Strangley enough, I saved it and it comes in very handy when scraping bowls. Yes it has been cleaned. For some reason it works the best for doing just that. Actually, im on my way to do just that right now.

I got used ones at a gun show for detail cleaning of my firearms. They work great for cleaning gunk off of any metal device and any glass device if you're careful. They scratch the hell out of plastics.

Man, I'm trippin out on what to type. I can't start properly or something, LOL, wierd.. I scraped out my pipe tonight and smoked two resin bowls... first time trying it and it got me super ripped. Considering I also made one of those 'firecracker's' an hour before hand. What a goooood 420 this is turning out to be so far. And don't worry, I still got a half ounce for when I wake up yet.

Damn, and I just realized this thread was old. Mah bad.

I always use a long paper clip to scrape my resin. Resin gets me pretty high too, but I notice that the high lasts relatively shorter.

iso alcohol is safe to soak you peice in evaporate and smoke the remains. I have done it a few times now with no ill effects. It is a much easier method than scraping and works way better.

Dental tools would probably be the best scraping device on the planet. I just used paper clips they work pretty good.

I'll probably sound like a damn fiend after saying this, but what the hell, it works.

A few days ago I ran out of weed, but I noticed that my pipe hadn't been cleaned in ages. Like it was BLACK to the extreme. I filled a small tupperware container with water, just enough to cover the pipe. I scraped my piece and flushed all the resin out into the bit of water. I'm waiting for the water to evaporate so I can easily scrape out what I dug out of my pipe and smoke it.

I have at times been fishing out chunks from the water and smoking them. The first few hits are nothing since I'm just evaporating the water on it, but after that it gets the job done.
