I wouldn't roll with something I just had lying around my house like a gum wrapper or paper. That's just a bad idea in my opinion. If you want to smoke tonight then use your pipe and wait until you can pick up some rolling papers. If you don't want to use your pipe make a steamroller or a bong or a parachute for tonight to get you by. I'd hook you up with rolling papers if I could man.

Only use rolling paper when rolling a joint. Other papers have harmful chemicals and addtivies in them, your going to be doing a lot of harm to your lungs smoking that shiiit... ecK!

I'm sure you could find someone old enough to buy you papers pretty easy, also you can ask someone who hand rolls their cigarettes for a few papers. Most people will always oblige, and help you out- thinking its for cigarettes as well.

On a side note; I was taught how to roll a joint inside out the other day man, im gonna have to give this a try, maybe ill make a thread showing you guys how to do it as well.

True, they're not as healthy for you as real smoking papers, but in a jam they work. I've used tissue paper before (the kind usually found in gifts of clothing and whatnot) and find it works best. I've used pages from a bible before too (my friend didn't tell me how he managed to roll without papers until after the session lol) and it wasn't pleasant but worked.


Spiral- ooh! inverted joints! I haven't met anyone who's heard of/can roll them in quite a while. Good to hear the connosieur rollers are still out there

One time i needed papers real bad, so i took 2 cigarettes; emptied the tobacco; cut the filters off both; then stuck the paper together by licking it to make it sticky; and rolled a joint. if you dont have any cigarettes use bible paper. ive heard its the same paper, but i dont know about the ink or any chemicals so check on that

I heard if you seperate the gum wrapper's paper from the tin foil you can use that, never tried it though.

Your inhaling unknown chemicals, none of that stuff was meant to be safely smoked - for all you know it could be carcenogenic, toxic, maybe even cause serious health problems.

could be carcenogenic???? umm, most anything that involves heat (especially to the combustion point) always produces carcinogens. even specialized smoking papers and even your favorite herb. personally, I think a cigarette would be worse than smoking a joint rolled out of non-rolling papers

Last I checked rolling papers are not carcinogenic. They are usually made of hemp, or they are some kind of rice paper. Rolling papers are specifically designed to provide a 'safe and efficient' smoke.

Also, last time I checked marijuana didn't cause cancer either. Sounds like you've gotten your facts a bit mixed up.

Cigarettes do have their fair share of chemicals in them although these chemicals aren't exceptionally deadly with one use, i.e. you won't die or receive health problems from one cigarette. Most of the chemicals added are meant to make the tobacco burn slower, or provide uniform taste and texture when smoking.

In regular paper and other potential make-shift joint rolling material there is a multitude of chemicals added in the process of creating the product, when they were made they had no intentions for some one to smoke their product.

Bleaches are added to turn what is brown wood into white paper. When they make paper they add some sort of highly acidic forumla to turn the pulp into a uniform texture to make a better product. Using a gum wrapper is probably the worst idea, considering their is often ink, some kind of foil, plastic and wax involved.

Let's hope your not using colored paper, because then you would have some other dyes in it as well. Let alone something with writing/ink on it.

If you have a cigarette why not just empty it to make a joint? You'll be much better off.

Its plain and simple. If you are going to roll a joint use a rolling paper.
