I think a lot of people are getting the wrong idea about being able to use "alternative forms of paper" to possibly roll a joint. The idea of using a page from the Bible is such a bad idea with all the additives added during the process of making the paper and the ink on the page just like SpiralArchitect pointed out. You know someone watched Harold and Kumar and thought "hey, I can just use the bible or other paper if I don't have rolling papers." Wrong idea.

Just use your pipe until you can pick up some rolling papers man.

Someone has been reading too much propaganda. Please, if marijuana is so "carcinogenic" please, provide me a case where marijuana use has been proven to cause cancer. Good luck though....you won't find one. marijuana has NEVER been shown to cause cancer....EVER. In fact, its been shown to reduce the liklihood of developing certain cancers.

carcinogens are formed in the combustion of ANYTHING. even in cooking and baking, you are forming carcinogens in the food you eat (even moreso if it's actually burnt and blackened). it has been proven (or so I thought) number of times that cannibus smoke contains a lot more tars and carcinogens than cigarettes??? but no, you won't find any cannibus related cancer records ever. cancer spreads when older weaker cells become victim to the carcinogens and mutate. normally these cells would hang around and eventually multiply and turn into full blown cancer. however, one of THC's effects is that it quite readily prevents cancer by killing off these mutated cells.

Yes, it is true and not propoganda. SMOKING weed creates large amounts of carcinogens. especially joints since you're burning the paper too, along with all the resin/tar (whichever term you prefer). Vaporizing and baking reduce the amount of carcinogen intake, but there will still be a minimal amount. The point is though that weed cancels out its own cancer causing probabilities.
Given the list of known chemicals found in cigarettes (arsenic[rat poison], benzene[fuel additive], beryllium and lead [metals toxic to humans], vinyl chloride [main ingredient in making pvc] to name a few {and all of them known to directly cause cancer}) I would still feel more comfortable smoking the makeshift joint than a cigarette. I agree that non-smoking paper isn't healthy, but comeon!! when it comes to health risks, I don't know if it gets much worse than cigarettes (maybe inhaling cigars?).

take the metal wraping from ciggarettes and if you run your lighter up and down it the paper should seperate from the metal stuff. i used this once the papers a lil waxy but its not harsh at all. its hard to get to stick together though.

Where are you getting your facts from? Your obviously confused on the issue.

I've never heard of cooking creating carcinogenic chemicals.... I think your making that up.

Also - Marijuana has never been linked to causing cancer.

*sigh* ignorance is bliss.....
