zigs zags etc, but liek on movies where the kids are smoking newspaper j's and so on, is that bad for you just curious

Please try to work on the grammar a little. That said, you shouldn't smoke newspaper joints. Same thing with regular printer paper or college ruled notebook paper. Although it is unhealthy, the tar that you inhale from the weed is more unhealthy. So, yes, it is bad for you, but you mostly shouldn't smoke from those types of things because it ruins the flavor and taste. It can make the hits harsher, and you end up tasting the inks being burned and the chemicals put into the paper that you rolled with. It isn't a good idea. However, there have been several threads on this topic. In the future, do a search.
