I was just wondering do most jewelry stores sell the digi pocket scales? if they dont who might sell them?

i dont know- i do know that headshops and places like spencers tend to carry them.

I'm not sure if jewlery stores sell scales, but you can get scales a lot of places, depending on what your llooking for. stoes such as office depot or staples have postage scales, but those usually weigh out to .1 gram. you would probably want something that weighs out to .01 or .001 if your lucky. i would suggest looking at scales on ebay, they have plenty to choose from for about 20-30 bucks for nice scales. or u can get a cheap plastic scale for about 5 bucks, but remember, u get what u pay for.

thanks for the quick answers i just need something small and that i can carry with me to tell if my dealer is ripping me off or not. and i cant order 1 offline because i live with my mom she will look in it before i do

i know if u order online from grasscity.com the packages come to your house in an inconspicuous cardboard box... but you would need a credit card and i doubt your mom would approve of you buying paraphenelia(sp?) with her money

Ask around. You might be able to get a used one off someone you know. Try asking friends/family to order it for you. Anyways good luck. I too am looking for a scale.

Why? That extra precision is a complete waste if you're only using it to weigh out pot (which usually sells in no smaller units than .5 grams).

I used to deal small quanities. I stopped (got bored I guesse) but I've learned a lot of valuable lessons, number one is buy pot in bulk, so much better value, from now on unless in dire need I will never buy less than a half O at a time.

Scales
Ya when I was chopping I just used a pocket scale with .1 increments, this was adequate. Besides if it was more accurate you would be really anal retentive about weighing it out PRECISLY. Besides .1 of bud is so little anyways. Anything less and you'll be adding or taking out bits of shake to get it to balance. Scales aren't cheap, and the smaller the increments the more expensive the scale. Therefore you should figure out what you really need and get that. And for pot you don't need anything more than .1
My scale has a 200 gram maximum capacity and has .1 increments this is perfect for what I need.
The problem with anything with smaller increments is that it becomes really difficult to get a stable reading as air currents will cause it to fluctuate. That's why most scientific scales have those large plexi glass inclosure ontop of the scale.

actually, just stepped into the kitchen and guess what i saw? A SCALE. surprise surprise- forgot my family had gone on a diet while i was at college. This scale appears to go up quite high (well over 200g) but only in 1.0 increments. This probably came from walmart or a health food store. Its possible you could get more accurate ones there as well?

I used to know a guy who dealt; we went on 3/4 of a P together and while he bagged it all up individually I just kept mine to myself and smoked it up with friends. He bought a digi scale from WalMart and I think you would be able to find one at any store like it.
