I just purchased a hand held scale from my local head shop a couple weeks ago, and it was $10.00. It is acurate, to the gram, for a hand held scale. I wanted a small digital scale, but they were so darn expensive I just couldn't justify spending the money. The cheapest one he had was $60.00.

I believe the best scale is digital, if you can afford one. I know it is more acurate than a hand held scale. But, since I am just weighing my own personal bags, a hand held scale is ok for me.

I saw that one on some site that sales scaleed for 20$. But it is a very accurate, if you have a calibration kit.

yeah it is very acurate i like it, i could of got it cheaper if I waited for it to come to my house but i couldn't wait. lol

60 yikes i wouldn't pay that for a personal home use either, thier has gotta be something cheaper than 60 where do you live? do you have alot of head shops in your area?

I am in Florida. But, I just purchased a digital scale off ebay and it ships today. Here is a pic of it....

It's a Jennings. With shipping, it was $22.00 and should be here by Saturday.

That is the same scale as my first scale. My scale now is ****ing cool. It is camo print, and weighs up to 100 pounds. It's bigger though, obviously.

Have a great scale, its portable, accurate, desn't need batteries, and only costs $1. You can get it at the Post Office, Office supply shacks, or even a good Headshop.

The first one shows how to use it: It IS a postal scale, and measures in grams & oz (4 oz total). Clip the item you want to weight where the envelope is, and hold the unit up by the ring pull. The solid circle at the bottom (2nd pix) is the counterweight, and the whole thing is done!. Fast, easy and you can pretty much leave it out in the open, and it doesn't really look like "paraphenalla".

I would keep it in the trunk of the car if you need to transport it, in a small boxx with some blank envelopes, a few stamps, and a pad & pen. That way it can only look like for what it was intended for.
