I am thinkin about getting a digital scale from a head shop. I wanna get a good one that is accurate but cheap like around 40 dollers, can anyone help out with some info? thanx

Yea i got to say digital scales are the best i got my scale at school of this one dude for ten bucks. I'l take a pic of it and show it to u its a digital one by the way. If you still go to school ask your bud smoking friends. If u dont go to school any more go to a Pipe shoe or something.

oh ok thanks man, no I don't go to school no more but I know all kinds of smoke shops here in cali. I just wanted to find some cheap prices but good quality scales. I guess I will do a little price hunting around my town before I buy.

id check around on eBay. they always have tons of scales, search for "mini scale" "digi scale" "postal scale" stuff like that.

Ebay has some good scales (stuff ive seen for 80$ at local shops) for 10-20$ american plus shipping.

Have a great scale, its portable, accurate, desn't need batteries, and only costs $1. You can get it at the Post Office, Office supply shacks, or even a good Headshop.



The first one shows how to use it: It IS a postal scale, and measures in grams & oz (4 oz total). Clip the item you want to weight where the envelope is, and hold the unit up by the ring pull. The solid circle at the bottom (2nd pix) is the counterweight, and the whole thing is done!. Fast, easy and you can pretty much leave it out in the open, and it doesn't really look like "paraphenalla".

I would keep it in the trunk of the car if you need to transport it, in a small boxx with some blank envelopes, a few stamps, and a pad & pen. That way it can only look like for what it was intended for.

Those are only what I'd call "marginally" accurate. I have used them, and while they get you in the ballpark, they aren't very precise at all.

True, TroubleMaker...but how accurate do you really need to be, unless you're the merchant?

Speaking from my personal profile, you're only going to be buying in set qauntities anyway. 5's (5 grams), 1/4 (>=7gm), 1/2 (>=14gm) or Full Oz.

If you're a regular, and of course you're not insane enough to make your transaction on the street, you'll have more than enough time to make sure its what its suppsoed to be. That little beauty is cool enough. And it has some benifits to it.

1 - If you weight it beforehand, and the purcash is REALLY off, I would go through it right there, and just strip the bigger stems & sticks out and get it to its true weight. If its JUST nugs, You can be sure your getting amount you want. As long as your not off by more than 2 gm, its cool. Of course it depends on your buying habits

2 - You'll cut down on getting the rep of being "easy to burn". I had one connection that intro'd me to another guy that had what I wanted, and I brought from him a few times. Each time I checked it right there in front of him, and when it was off enough, I showed it to him, and got my balence. A few times, It was OVER, and same thing (I think it was a test, but that just how I am, lol) I pointed it out to him, and gave it back.

My honesty paid off for that : He always made sure to give me a little more for the same price, So I wound up getting more for my buck, over the long haul. Damn, I missed getting his crop...one of the few local farmers in Long Island. Now he's retired to NV, I think.
