I bought a grinder a while back from a headshop and after grinding up like a 1/4 I didnt get any kif, whats up with that? The kif goes in the bottom most compartment right? Like there is the place where its ground, the middle place and a lower one under a screen. Is there something bad with my screen? How can I tell if a grinder is good before buying?

What kind of grinder is it? Is it metal? Hopefully, it isn't a Sweatleaf.

just a 1/4 wont get you an appreciable amount of kief anyway man... its takes a considerable amount of time to get kief built up. the danker your herb, the more ya get. you wont even be getting kief worth having from anything less than beaster.

Eh, it really depends on the quality. If you've got nice weed, you can get a pretty nice amount of kief from a quarter. At least enough to put a layer on top of a bowl.

One of my old friends used to burn through ~ an oz a week and he was always keifing the bud for a while. He has this silver container that is like 2 inches tall 1 inch wide that is like 80% filled with keif. Pure keif bowls get ya way blazed.

this is decent weed, it has the little white crystals all over it. Yes, its metal and there is NO kef in the bottom container.

Well, if you have the product name (or a pic would work alot easier) we could look at it and make sure its a kief collector first. Next thing id suggest is pulling it all apart and making sure that theres nothing blocking any holes or screens. The Kief (at least the kief ive seen and smoked before anyway) will almost be a yellow coller and look like pollen collecting in the very bottom later. It isn't something you can just dump out either, you kinda have to scrape it to get some (Think guitar pick for this process, it works great).

yeah man when i go back to the bay area ima get one of those. were im at now unfortunetly there is no dank. just brick, weed. and here they call resin hash sometimes

no worries ill be back in berkeley in a month, home of the dank.
