To the original poster. I don't use a grinder. There is no way a grinder is going to get you higher. If I do ever buy a grinder it will be a space case w/ pollen collector and a pollen press. Since all that totaled will be around $120 it will needless to say be a while before I buy that.

wow i was thinking of gettign one and i thougth they were 30 bucks. can i get one witha pollen collector (can be another brand?) for something like 50 tops?

i do a lot of rolling rather than bongs so i bought a simple plastic grinder, its so much quicker than breaking up with fingers/scissors/credit card. although if i dont have the grinder on me, scissors will do. cool thing bout my grinder is the wee compartment on top for some bud/grinded up bud.

they're not essential, but do save time and break up your bud more efficiently

i won't be getting a pollen collector until i have a steady income and therefore a steady supply of weed

a friend of mine has a thing like a grater that he uses to break up his bud, i've never seen it up close tho. he keeps it in a wee black cloth drawstring bag with a pot leaf on it. pretty cool

i know someone who bought 25 of those for $20 off e-bay...and yes: those exact ones. my feeling is that these things are made by collecting industrial machinery parts made in asian factories and then branding them and selling them at the ridiculous price mentioned above.

don't quote me on that though...just a theory

I use all types of smoking so i decided to get the space case. I absolutly love it and its really nice for rolling. I got the one with no kif catcher. I wouldnt say that the kif catcher is worth it.. Ive seen them used and i dont think its worth the extra money. As for the off brand grinders.... i wouldnt use them. ive used many and they are all far less superior than the space case brand.

I was couched thinking all these crazy thoughts and I couldn't move, just think about totally random things. I must have been glued to the couch for 30 minutes after I smoked this bowl. On SPACECASE KIF grinders- best invention to hit smoking since the bong! What is the big deal about SpaceCase kif? Why is it so cool? Why is it worth the money? Let me explain.

When you run out of weed without one, you are smoking roaches or resin- the worst part of your bag. Someone with a SpaceCase runs out of weed, and it's the best part of the bag. Have you ever met anybody happy to run out of weed? Well if you know me you know someone.

Spending the extra money is not only just 'worth it'- the damn thing pays for itself with the kif it makes. Non-kif grinders are the waste of money- they really don't do anything but break up weed for you.

Even though the patent lifted from SpaceCase and other Chinese companies are producing working knockoffs doesn't mean you should go cheap with buying a grinder either. Pay SpaceCase for the invention and the design, not some copying Chinese company... Just my

This is my grinder and I love it. BTW, if you turn the top enough the bud doesn't stick to the prongs, even if it's sticky KB. Which I have right now.

I need to get myself one of those space cases in the near future. Smoking KB is great, but always having a growing pile of hash must be sweet.

Collector, how much herb did you go through to get a whole bowls worth of kif? Looks like about a 1/4 oz went through there.
