im thinking about buying a grinder, but im not sure if i want to spend the money. im very cheap and i would rather spend money on weed, but a friend of mine told me that grinders are way better and they will get you more high. plus im tired of crumbling with my fingers. if you guys like grinders, what brand/types do you like and do you know any good websites that have good deals on them? i apprecaite any help you can give. thanks!

i don't really have a favorite brand, but i like the wooden ones. mine works great and it was cheap like 10 dollars.

ive never been too big of a fan of grinders unless they have the keef collectors on the bottom. i hear the 'space case' is the best one to go with. i would think your friend would be wrong saying that it gets you higher, because when you grind up weed, a lot of thc crystals fall off and get stuck to the side/top/bottom or the grinder. again, this is why the keef collectors come in handy. however they can be quite expensive. i just use my fingers

Where I'm from (Jupiter), we cut up our buds with a high tech invention called the 'scissors'. I have used many grinders, and the weed always gets caught in the little prong things and it's too hard to get out. I never use my fingers to cut weed because the crystals get on my fingers, wasting THC and making you hands dirty. If I ever crumbled with my fingers, I'd end up lighting my hands on fire in a bid to conserve my marijuana. I would never buy a grinder, but that's just from personal experience and knowledge.

Okay, it would get you higher because the THC dont stick to your fingers. I would invest in one. Of course... If you have coffee grinder anywhere, its the same thing. Also, What the **** is Keif? Ive never smoked/heard of it.

If you primarily smoke bowls, then a grinder might not be best for you. They can sometimes break up bud more than you'd want for bowls. If you do a lot of rolling, then by all means get one. Space Case is the most famous and best rated grinder, especially if you get the kief screen version.

Kief is the result of sifting marijuana buds or the ground up product over a screen. When you grind up your weed in a kief grinder, the material falls from the main grinding compartment onto a screen below. Crystals go through the screen, your material will not. Eventually, you're left with a bunch of kief, and it's awesome.

I picked up a Space Case imitation on ebay for <$20, and it's definitely the best investment I've made so far in my smoking career.
