Decent amount? An ounce really. You can get about a hit of kif off of a 1/8th of good mids though, so an ounce would be about 8 hits usually more. Dro generally doesn't produce that much kif because it's usually fresh. However if you get some properly dried out dro, it will produce more than mids.

3. what's the best way to use the grinder/press without without lossing much of the keef? (like how to collect it for instance)
Just use it normally- you really don't have to worry about losing kif unless you spill it out of the dish.

I was expecting to grind up about an 8th and share some keif with my friends because they want to try it...i guess thats not working out. sorry to kinda hijack the thread but if you get about one hit of kief off of an 8th, how long will that one hit last?
