| You can usually calibrate scales, so get something that you know they exact weight of and fiddle with it until it comes out right. You can use a nickel to help get it set right, I'm pretty sure they weight exactly five grams (I'm about positive of this, but someone correct me if I'm wrong...) If you can't fix it, try a post office store or a chain store like staples or office depot (which is an office supply store, if you don't have those chains in Canada). I'm pretty sure they sell scales to weigh letters for correct postage. those would be very accurate, but probably a little pricey... some headshops sell them, too.

| Yes. Especially if you find a scale dealer selling there. My Weigh is the only brand I'd buy. It's the #1 brand and has the best warranty-30 years. Another place to check is oldwillknottscales.com. They're an authorized dealer for My Weigh and right now they've got a close out on a nice .1g palm size scale for $9.90 with about $4-6 for shipping. It's the 200Z. It's been replaced by the 300Z so it's a great price. I bought one to give as a Christmas gift. |
