| Yeah I'm familiar with analogies and what I was saying is that there is a reason you want coffee ground up to a certain degree of consistancy but what I'm wondering is if it is really beneficial for weed since you are smoking it either way. Obviously you don't want to stick a nug in the bowl and light it but does it need to be completely shredded. It sounds like it's just a preference thing more than anything. And I agree with supporting local headshops and pretty much any local shop over the internet even if it means you're paying more as long as it's within reason. I got a brand new bong just last week from them and couldn't feel any better about supporting. But I think I would much rather by another nice piece of glass instead of an expensive grinder. That's just me though. Time to smoke now. |

| Oh OK. ![]() The consistent grind makes it light easier, I suppose.... That's about the only real benefit.

| Okay, I think I'm going to buy a SpaceCase, but I just found a similar grinder called TrueBLendz (http://www.spacegrinders.com/mad/trueblendz.html). the site sells both SpaceCases and this TrueBlendz case. The TrueBlendz case looks very well made and comes in black. Has anyone ever used one of these TrueBlendz grinders? Thanks |

| I'm planning on buying a spacecase knockoff type aluminum grinder in the next couple weeks the reason is for vaporizer use... as far as bowls go I just grab a piece of the bud, roll it a bit in my fingers to break it up a tad, stick in the bowl, and light. |

| Alright, so i've had my small wooden grinder for awhile now and I am thinking about upgrading. If i do, i want to go all the way and get the best, which from everything i've heard is a Spacecase. Another factor is that i've just recently bought 1/4 of some amazing bud, this stuff is so resinous that when i grind it up and put it in a bag, there is keif sticking all over the sides of the bag. I don't want to waste this, which is another reason I would like the spacecase so that i can begin to save up. Is 80ish bucks a good price for the normal (medium) sized grinder with the collector at the bottom? Is medium too large, would a small one be better, or is the medium perfect size? Also does the mesh screen ever rip/break/etc and then what if it does, you're just out 80 bucks? Anyones opinions on whether I should actually drop the money on it or the pros and cons about it would be great i just found a site online selling the medium for 65 bucks before shipping http://gratefulbuys.com/product_info...roducts_id=157 too good to be true? |

| Your story sounds so familiar... I too had a wooden grinder, a few actually, and I wanted more, so I bought my Space Case on EBay, off of that very same seller, gratefulbuys. I am extremely satisfied with it. If you want to get the most out of that bud, leave it out to dry a bit before you grind it up, the kief will come off en masse.

| I have a small SPaceCase and it's perfect for me. It's about 2 inches across and grinds up the perfect amount for a bowl and a half or a fat joint (the way I roll and using my bowl, which is larger/deeper than most). The only downside that I can see to the small unit is the top doesn't have the magnet to hold it in place. For me, that's not a huge deal. |
