I can't believe noone has mentioned Randy's Wired papers......they have a thin wire running along one edge of the papers, not only fucnctioning as a built in "roach clip" but also making them incredibly easy to roll. Yeah, its cheating a little bit, but they do work, and suprisingly, the wire doesn't make the joint burn weirdly. I hate to admit it, but they are about the only papers I can roll decently with.

Good call, trouble'. I remember when they were called "Randy's Insta-Roach" but the name had to be changed due to stupid paraphenalia laws. Laws against words, even!

Randy's are great, and yes they make for a more stable rolling paper. And the wire can be very useful to hold that small, hot burner. Plus, a creative roller can reuse the wire in a regular paper.

To be honest, even though I'm an old sky pilot, I still prefer to roll with a machine. It allows you to use a very light paper without glue, like Modiano Club, in the square "Professor" pack. NOw I can roll freehanded, using the common orange Zig-Zag (as Dark KB suggested, they're almost everywhere). May not look too pretty but it'll smoke.

But the best way to get to Carnegie Hall is and always has been practice, practice, practice. And practice with some decent, reasonably-fresh mids: rolling shwag (especially very shakey stuff) can be difficult for a new roller.

If you're using a rolling machine, or even rolling freehand, just get a few packs of whatever paper you can afford to buy a large amount of right now. ZigZag, Bambu, Joker, HEMP, EZ-Wider, Top, Rizila...they are pretty much everywhere in North America - Just drop $10 and get at least a half dozen packs. I find that for the newbies, 1 1/2 sized paper is Goldilocks (Not too big, not too small, Just right)


Get your stash out, sit at a desk or at least have a hard surface to work on and START ROLLING...Practice will show you the limits of what you can do and how fast. And only with practice will you learn NOT to overfill the roller...or how to use both 1 & 2 leaves of paper...maybe even learn how to get a roach inserted so you dont waste anything.

If you want to roll using Blunt sized papers (like those TRUE BLUNT papers you mentioned) I would say get a 100mm or 120mm sized roller so as to take advantage of the size, unless you feel like taking a scissors to it and shaping them to fit your new roller...Just cut it so its the same width as your regualr paper, and keep the length. And let them dry just a little so as they're not too sticy or wet as you feed it into the roller.like, leave them out of the wrapper for about 2-5 minutes, depending on temp. You'll have to give it a good lick to seal it in the same spot as if it were paper, but you'll still get it. Then once its done, bake it a little over a lighter to firm it up. Then SMOKE the damn thing...lol
