I bought my Space Case a few weeks ago and I absolutely LOVE it. I wish I'd of bought mine years ago. I bought mine online from discountworldonline.com a company here in the US (unless I'm mistaken).

I bought the 60mm * SPACE CASE * 4PC * MAGNETIC * POLLINATOR GRINDER and it cost me $74 (shipping included) It was sent priority and took 4long days to arrive.

I wouldn't buy the cheaper cases simply because of a few bad things I read about them. I'd rather no go through the hassle of having to replace it once it breaks (if it breaks). I know several people on this site have had no problems with the cheaper versions but I'd rather not take the chance of gettin one that might put metal shivers in my kief. I'd rather pay more for quality not to mention I like to give credit where credit is due. IMO... the Space Case is one of a kind.

If money is an issue you might consider going with the cheap version and see if it works out for you OR save up for the Space Case.

I accidentally dropped my grinder yesterday. I was pissed. Nothing fell out, not even ground up herb, but the kief was pretty messed up.

Yeah, get the Space Case, it's worth it. I just got a knockoff (not a Space Case ) and I have to say, I'm kind of disappointed with its performance. It's a really nice grinder, but it's just lacking in some ways.

If only I could go back in time......

I'll keep this one for a while and buy a Space Case sometime in the future. Till then, I've got a $70 paperweight. (Just kidding, it's really not that bad...)

Now if only I could learn to stop making impluse buys when I'm blazed out of my gourd.

space cases are the best thing for stoners since glass pipes! i absolutely love mine. i smoked about half a bowl of kief from an 1/8th of widow yesterday, on top of a half bowl of said widow. i smoked at 2 pm and stopped having the munchies and that AMAZING body high at 7:30 that night. the great part is that i have MORE kief, more than what i smoked! kief really extends your sacks of weed if you can ration it correctly.

as for the crossthread dilemma, heat up the area that is stuck (pretty hot, you'll need an oven, stove, or my favorite, a plasma torch* ) and start reefing on it with some oddjob vice grips! give it hellllllll! that way you save the kief (yeah, it will melt a little... if that's the right way to put it) from any contamination. don't get it so hot that you start to warp the metal, though. you can also try getting it hot, then dip it quickly in ice water, and try loosening it that way. you must let everying heat up enough so that the outer metal cools faster than the inner metal, allowing for expansion and contraction to work their magic. you still have to keep working it, though.

*don't really use the plasma torch. i found this method of loosening crossthreaded or stuck connections last year when i had a crossthreaded and rusted 1 5/8th inch bolt stuck to my truck. the plasma torch was the only thing hot enough to get the nut moving. a 3 foot bar was the only thing long enough to get us leverage. talk about work!
