I accidentally left my grinder in the console in my car yesterday while at work. It was 90 and sunny all day pretty much, and I was wondering if that would affect the quality of kief that I have in there. I have a good amount saved up in my kief collector, but when I went to grab my space case, it was quite hot to the touch, I inspected the kief and it looks fine and its not melted or anything.

What do you guys think?

It's fine, it will stick to the bottom of the grinder a bit when you scrape it up but nothing major. If the grinder is hot you need to cool it down before scaping up kif or it will all stick together, I've experienced this smoking on a break at work. My grinder gets very hot in my car and I need to cool it down with the A/C.

Im so glad it isn't ruined, I've got quite a large amount of kief saved up, I'm going to keep my grinder in the nice cold basement from now on when I'm not using it.

The heat has already affected it though, you don't have to take any unecessary precautions with it. I know it is precious to you, but the only thing you can do to ruin it is dump water or some other liquid inside it, or spill it everywhere. Heat won't ruin it, it will only make it clump together a little bit while the grinder is hot.

I heat my pollen press up to around 120ish when I'm pressing my kief in it...

As long as you didn't get it up over 350f and into vaporizing tempratures it should be cherry, albiet a tad melted down
