My girlfriends uncle is into all this metaphysical stuff and he puts magnets on his bongs and pipes cause he said that it increases the potency of the thc. does this hold any weight or is it a bunch of bull?

It holds as much weight as any other "healing" use of magnets.

I think, especially in some hightened states, the mind can make alot of things feel real or become physical to the person whom believes. B.S.? Depends on the beholder is my opinion. I took a bogus vitamin for a while and thought and felt great until someone told me it was not the real deal..
Kinda like that I guess.

Hehe. Seems like something my pagan aunt would do.

But really, it might be an effective placebo if anything. I dunno, seems like a crazy idea, but if I was with someone who believed this I would let them do it..might as well I guess. :

The "placebo effect" has many faces. If believe something strong enough, you can fool your mind into mimicing the effects you are expecting. For example, quite a few years back there was a study done on a college campus. A party was staged, complete with kegs. People drank and began acting drunk after a few drinks.....however, the only beer available at the party was non alcoholic!!!!! People were EXPECTING to be drunk, so they acted drunk....even though they later all passed breath analysis proviing they were not intoicated!
