Do cigarette rolling machines work well with weed? The thread about "walking and smoking" got me thinking it might be a cool, and worthwile investment to get one of these little machines. I mean, its not like they are THAT expensive.

Example of what i am curious about:




I know I have to buy cig tubes, but i think it would be worth it.

Oh, and how the hell do they work? Is one alot easier to use? Fill me in on these mystery machines!!!!

PS- Please dont argue about wheather or not filters affect THC delivery. Nobody will reach a conclusion, and I dont really care, so SHUT IT!!! hahaha!!

I can roll by hand just fine; and this will deffinatly not replace hand rolling. I just want somehting thats quick and easy for those spontanious moments where time is an issue and a joint/weed cig sounds good.

Yeah, I think it'd work just fine...and I think the filters do extract some THC...so if you're concerned, you can roll the filter between your fingers until it comes out, and replace with a roach. Or, you could just cut off the filter part. But yeah, the machine looks dandy, give it a try if you have the money to spend on it. If not, roll by hand.

I've used one of those kind of machines and yes they work, but there are some disadvantages:

1. I believe the actives are reduced by the filter so I cut the filters off, even though they are very weak filters that don't filter much. But with the filter cut off the tubes are too small to look normal.

2. The tubes are incredibly wide so you use a lot of herb

3. They don't pack it very tightly, so it tends to burn faster than a well made cigarette would.

I have one and it rolls greatt. It packs it very well and can roll up to a gram and perfectly packed and all. I love it.

ive got a rolling machine, but i think its more fun to twist it up by hand. my rolling machin rolls it perfect tho like a cigarette. theres a picture of it on this thread somehwere http://420.marijuana.com/showthread.php?t=41482

So which one do you use? Like, what brand and type?

This is also because i got cought by my parents and i need a way to keep weed around without being too obvious. Ill still have to hide the "cigarettes" a little bit, but I think having them in cig tubes will give a bit of added security.
