| I really doubt metal shavings are coming off just from grinding bud. It would only come off if metal was scraping against something hard.

| Like perhaps metal? ![]() Alright I have never heard of a Sharp stone grinder - I am assuming it is a kief collecting grinder, no? If so most likely it will be of decent quality (although there are ones that are total SHIT), that is quality enough to ensure metal shavings will not be an issue. May I recommend going to google and looking at these two alternatives to Space Case, they are much cheaper and equal to a Space Case. I have a 3" Mendo Mulcher I got for 50 dollars. Alternatives; TrueBlendz Mendo Mulcher Tell us what you get.

| I've never heard of 'metal shavings' coming off grinders. Sounds like a myth to me. |

| I have seen this happen in VERY cheap metal-COATED grinders, the solid steel ones should have no problem with this. The problem with the metal coating is that it chips off, and falls in with the weed, but this shouldn't happen with anything above $10. An answer to this problem may be a wooden grinder, if you aren't set on getting a 4-piece one.

| I bought a small wooden grinder, works an absolute charm, I got it for $20 AUD, so it'd be cheaper in US obviously. No metal shavings for me of course, and I havnt found any trace of wooden shavings in mine, and I really can't see any way that that would happen, but yeah. btw, if you are worried about kief collection, with my wooden one I just wait for a few grinds until a fair ammount of kief builds up in the bottom and then i justs get something to poke it and losen it up and tip it into a container (or alternately you could you a ziploc bag, or anything else) peace. ![]() |

| Just twist the grinder without bud in it and see if there are metal shavings in it. |

| I have a grinder that I bought for twenty(get it 4:20) bucks from Venice and it works great. I've had it for a month and a half and no problems here, just a lot of free kief. |
