|  Bowl plug? Does anybody else here use a little bowl plug for their piece? It's a little flower-shaped glass that fits inside the bowl and prevents ash from going in. |

| A few people around here use 'em.....however, the proper terminology is actually "glass screen" I myself never use them simply because I've never felt the need.....

| never even heard of that before, i just use brass screen. Would you be able to put up pics or something, i cant figure out how glass stops ash?? peace

| I bought one with my first pipe and ended up throwing it away by mistake because I forgot it was in the bag. I just use metal screens because they're a dollar for 10 of them and you can shape them however you want. |

| haha yeah glass screen. it's pretty useful because i can use it to smoke kief  . it's only a dollar each over here. pretty tiny and fragile though... |

| yea, using a metal screen in a glass pipe is ludacris. Most of the time i use no screen in my glass peices but its nice to not get the occasional mouth of ash. |
