this is the best method i have found after trying a ton of things smoking in my dorm. I just got a 20' roll of 1/2" clear vinyl tubing, ran the tube out my window and like 5 feet off to the side of the building and there... just exhale through the other end of the tube and watch all of the smoke fly through. problem solved. the only smell you get is from the residual smoke coming off the end of the bowl or whatever and if anything come back up the tube. the only thing is since i have a particularly long piece of tube some smoke stays in it unless you blow it all out with fresh air. not a big deal, but i want to try and find or make a one way valve.

That is a good idea if the tube is well hidden.

ha ha you made an exhaust for your room.. LOve that.
I think even the secondhand weed smoke has alot of smell tho. just how well did your exhaust work.Ha ha, I can smell that seed burning from here. loljk

it worked great. i have a stand up air filter thing for my room and after sealing my door and using the exhaust it works well.

Why don't you just put a window fan in backwards and set by the window when you smoke? That would beat blowing out thru a hose and the smoke off the pipe/joint etc. would be exhausted out the window too.

i was doing that but it wouldnt exhaust it all and people could still smell it.

Yea thats true. What if whater filtering was added, kind of like a reverse bong where you exhale through the tube into the water.

dont see the point to that, when you filter smoke through water it is still smoke.

All I do is take a paper towel tube, bunch up 8 or 10 dryer sheets inside it, and blow through that.

Makes your room smell Spring-time fresh!
