I've got a nice wood container with a screw on top, but the inside, though sanded and smooth, does not have a finish. I'd like to use it for stash, but can't since the bare wood sucks the moisture out of weed. Anyone have an idea for a safe sealer, like some kind of wax maybe?

I'm fairly sure that you can use polyurethane, once dry you won't have any contamination problems and it'll look sharp. If you have any doubts you can always go to a hardware store and tell a worker you're building a humidor and it needs to be moisture resistant.

you could always use that wax stuff that they use for braces like on teeth. I found some in school the otherday and they little cas is unreal lol.

ummm, im quite sure the wax you use to finish wood is ALOT different than the wax you get when you get braces hahahaha!!

im looking at peice of it right now and it looks exactly the same... just trying to help... you could alway just keep you stash in an air tight bag in the wooden thinggy.

you can buy special epoxy that is meant for sealing wooden tables and stuff, so it is safe to eat off of it. I am not sure how expensive it is but make sure you buy the right food safe type. and that should do the job
