Default glass hotknives?

so i stumbled apon a pair of glass hotkniveswhile stoned out of my tree today, and thought they were so kool i immediatley bought them. now that im home and sober, im thinking to myself "how do i heat them up?"
the only time i did hotknives i used to use regular kitchen knives and stuck them in the burners of the stovetop, but i am thinking this would be a horrible idea for the glass. i also thought perhaps just using a flame, but would that cause them to crack, or perhaps just be a stupid idea?

how the fuck do i work these things?

any help greatly apretiated

Glass will crack when it changes temps fast. If you let it sit on the burner while its heating up it should be fine. If they crack....well then, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

they are made for heating is they really are "hotknives". i would go with the stove top at first.

so i heard that they are supposed to be heated by a torch lighter, not a stovetop, witch helps, if i could only figure out witch end to heat up.

one end is rounded, with a little indent, i belive this end is the handle but my friend insists it is the "bowl" (for lack of a better word.)

the other end has a curved point, and has designs on it, and is hollow. i think that this end is the "bowl" not the handle

any help?

I think it's acts like a bowl and you press the weed with the other skewer in there.
