Default Stale Cigars!

anyone have any idea how to restore their freshness?? I find leaving one covered where it cant get wet out in the rain turns it moist again but i hate when i buy it and its freakin hard as a rock. i tried putting one in the fridge next to a glass of water...i doubt if its going to work but its worth a shot. if anyone has suggestions on how to get a cigar to maintain freshness please post them here

Would putting it in some container with something like an orange peel work? I know that's what a lot of people use to moisturize their weed.

Furthermore, unless we're speaking about cigars that're gunna be gutted and filled with weed, or blunt wraps that're gunna be filled with weed, I believe this is off-topic. We shall see if it comes to the attention of a mod, I suppose.

"However, one tradition through the years is to keep cigars in zip-lock Bags (double with sponge); stored in the crisper of a refrigerator; a mason jar; ammo box; and many others"

I found this on a cigar website....and i'll try orange peels too, but do you think that lemon/lime or other citrus peels would work if there werent any oranges? I should also probably consider investing in a humidor...

Humidor, if you have one. Often a 'stale' cigar will never be the same. IE--will crumble apart, taste like shit, etc. In all honesty, it would be better to just buy some new ones.

If you were to buy new ones, I think they would not break apart. Perhaps its impractical to do so because you are under 18?

I doubt you will be able to salvage those old cigars to the point that you could empty them out, and re-roll them.

I'm not under eighteen it's just a waste of money, I got one back to rollable quality by dipping it in water and then drying it out again, and it says a humidor would do it on the cigar blog web site and so far the plastic bag/sponge method seems to be working.

Putting them in the fridge next to the glass of water didn't work?

At any rate, feels good not to waste I suppose. Enjoy your blunt.
