night before last, i was using my glider 3 chamber grinder that i just got a week ago and all was well. i put it in its case at night before i went to bed. i woke up the next day and somehow, the magnet in the center of the top grinding compartment that holds the lid on somehow reversed polarity and now repels insteads of attracting the opposite magnet. does anyone know of anywhere where i could buy a replacement top, or am i fucked and i have to get a new grinder?

Thats weird. I've never herd of a magnet spontaniously reversing polarity, but hey I beleave you. See if you can pry it out to flip it over other wise just push together and grind, and last case check ebay, their so cheap for good grinders just replace it.

Are you sure someone couldn't have turned the magnet around, as in practical joke? I'd bet it's removeable. Maybe glued in?

i tried to pry it out - not happening - and it couldnt have been a practical joke, seeing as how it was next to me all night as i slept
