My joints are looking really good, but every once in a while a little bit will tear (usually from my fingers being dry)... So id just wrap it in another paper. Now I do it because it slows the burning a ton and makes it aesthetically (sp) better.

Any thoughts?

Yeh Ive done that,It's worth it sometimes.But if you want something to look good and smoke long/hit good, roll blunts.

Try this one ! just Tear a little piece off a paper , wet it and lay it over the ript part of your joint .
This way you aren't smoking double papers ,which can tend to make your spliff a bit more harsh .

Ya ,I call it (the patch ) it does work very well , just make sure you wet your patch,and then just lay it over your joint

roll "inside out" (glue up). Just before you tuck, lick the strip and roll under. trim off any excess paper (lick and tear). single roll of paper and enough left over for a patch.

Ya , that's right ,use the sticky part of the paper for your patch,that works even better .

WHen rolling joints, i seemingly always use double papers, I prefer to lick the glue, then stick the other one on it so its twice as tall. I prefer this because it gives you more room to tighten it up, for the amateure rollers like myself

Yup, it is a good idea. Personally if I rip it (usu because of a stem or clumsiness while my fingers are cold) then I just re-roll one.

As for using double papers, I wouldn't wanna do that. I've smoked double-paper joints before and they're sorta nasty. I'd rather taste weed than rolling paper. Your joint should burn pretty slow anyway if it's tight well-rolled. Not to mention you're going through papers twice as fast.
