When I ordered a two-piece whip for my VaporWarez vaporizer, I asked the seller to send me a bunch of screens. He told me he was out of them (in commercial quantities) but included two extras with the whip.

I'm down to one spare screen and went back to the guy's web site. Not only does he not have the right size screens available, he's selling the screens he's got for $2 for five and wants $9.20 for regular shipping. When I asked about the screens I need, he told me, incorrectly, that the 1/2" screens were the right size. The screens I had clearly measured 5/8".

I went on a hunt and found screens at a reasonable price with free shipping. This site is selling 10 screens for $1.50. They have seven different sizes of brass screens and six sizes of stainless screens. I ordered 20 of the 5/8" SS screens three days ago and they arrived in today's mail. They are identical to the one screen I have left from the whip purchase.

Well right on...I don't buy screens like that...I just go to a craft and hobby store and get a sheet of maybe 2ftx2ft of very fine screen. Then I go home and have little project, cutting a bunch of little screens out(or using a paper hole puncher if the bowl is small enough) and keep them all in a tin right in my drawer of smoking stuff. Only have to to the whole process maybe once every couple months and you've got plenty of screens.

Then again I go through a lot of screens, I smoke chillums a lot so they clog fast and I don't reuse them.

The same seller also has screens in wholesale quantities. If you need 2,000, they only cost 5¢ each!

I buy my screens at a local head shop, 5 brass screens for $1. They come in large, medium and small, or you can get 5 of each size for $2.50.

My head shop not only sells at least 6 sizes of screens they always give you a bunch
of free ones when you buy something.

I found a seller on eBay who has great deals on screens. I use 5/8" screens and he'll sell me 100 of them for $6.24 and shipping is free. The seller is "loucoins".

That's like a two-year supply if I swap in a new screen once a week. I don't think I'll bother cleaning my screens anymore.

I just picked up 20 new SS 1 inch screens from smokinjoes. Thank you for that link. I am going to soak my screens for a little while, try to recycle and help the Earth as much as I can.

I've never paid for a screen, at all three of my local head shops they give away a pack of 10-20 metal screens and a few glass screens with every pipe or bong you buy and since I love my glass never had to go out of my way to buy one.
