I'm fine with my hemp Skunk papers. I have big ones and little ones. I also have several packs of zig zags, I see nothing wrong with them - every joint I have smoked out of clear paper was shitty, burnt too fast, or canoed. The notion of them having more chemicals definetley makes me want to avoid them.

I've been smoking for almost 40 years. Until recently it was mostly joints. In all that time, I've burned less paper than one copy of the Sunday New York Times. I'm not too worried about the impact on the environment from that.

Paper is almost pure cellulose. When it burns, it produces CO2, water vapor, and a little CO. The amount of CO is miniscule compared to the amount coming out of the incomplete combustion of the weed, which is also mostly cellulose.

Clear papers are a gimmick, nothing more.

Someone should clarify.

There are clear papers, and there are unbleached papers. Unbleached papers are a brownish tint, and are made exactly the same way as bleach papers, minus the bleach.

it's kinda cool to see a nice clear joint... but I'd go for my slow burning zags over clear papers any day.

I'm pretty happy to see this post. I use clear papers all the time and I was under the impression they were better for you than the white ones. Even an old dog like me can learn something new.

That being said, I like the clear papers a lot. I like the way they burn, and they have no taste, so I can taste the bud. They are also cheaper than regular Zig-Zags (per paper), at least at my corner store. The only issue I have with them is that they don't like the cold, at all. Not a problem now, but it will be for me in a few months because I only smoke outside. Glad I have my bubbler.

I enjoy clear papers, but I never actually roll with them myself, and my friends use them only rarely... they ARE kind of a gimmick, but a harmless one in my opinion. They're just fun.

Usually, though, if we smoke a jay, we use hemp papers. Hemp papers are ridiculously cheap compared to normal ones, at least at the places I've been... plus, ya know, it's hemp.

We usually use Juicy J's around here, but the clear one's are always fun too, plus they burn crazy slow.

Once you get the rolling down with the clear ones they are awsome. If they are boating then you rolled it bad maybe? Since that can happen with any papers if you do it wrong.Clears burn forever and are barely harsh(for me anyway)Ive tried almost every brand out there so I have a few preferences.1.Zigzag 2.Clears 3.JOBS 4.Jokers.The "flavored" ones suck and are made like goddamn construction paper. If all else fails and im not in the mood for my bowl then i'll buy a blunt wrap but thats like once in a blue moon. Also ez-widers are the worst, harshest papers ive ever smoked in my life.YUK!

i love clear papes just picked up a few and they work great but i cant even imagine rolling them without a rolling machine(best investment ive made), but if your looking for the best papes just in general its all about the wired papes, they have a little wire in them so when its down to a roach you hald the wire and will never have to deal with holding a roach again
