I have a wooden hand buster that I have been using for a while now.
It's gotten rather sticky and is now hard to use (sticks a lot when trying to grind).

I'm wondering if there's a best way to wash a wood hand grinder without actually hurting the wood (water tends to warp and so on).

Any suggestions?!

No idea, the only way I know to really clean grinders and such is letting them soak in alcohol. Not sure of the effects on wood though.

im sure you should be able to go to a wal-mart type store and find something that can clean wood...hardware stores should be a good place too jus go in and ask someone working there if they have any wood cleaning products

You gotta keep in mind that the product will be touching something you smoke. If they give you wood floor cleaner, I guarentee its toxic. Although, running it under hot water after the cleansing would probably rid of this concern, but it would defeat the purpose of not using water for warping reasons.

I would think if you are using water to clean it, you will be fine with isopropyl alcohol. Try getting 99% and using a little bit, it works wonders.

Perhaps taking a q-tip, dipping it in warm water or rubbing alcohol (your choice) and swabbing the inside, that's probably your best bet. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

edit: oh yeah, its grinDer, not gringer. Honest mistake I'm sure, I thought it was comical.
