My cheapo chinese grinder teeth just broke off in the bud so I'm trying to decide which grinder to buy. i want one with a keef catcher, and would prefer a larger one (4"?). anybody that can give their opinion on them would be great. my friend had a space case and they obviously get the job done, but i've heard good things about the mendo mulcher...any suggestions?

I also have a Mendo Mulcher, it works just as good as day one (2 years ago) as today. It really gets your weed to a consistent uniform 'mulch'

Plus its cheaper than the Space Case

I have a space case. A buddy has a Mendo.

As far as functionality, they are identical.
The Mendo wins out in one area: price.

The money you save will get you some goodies with which to grind up in the Mendo.

I got my SpaceCase stolen a while back, which makes it my second one that was taken, and now Im looking for a cheap alternative without losing any quality. That Mendo Mulcher looks tight as shit.

Questions:
Are there too many teeth there? Seems like it may be tough to stuff some bud in with all those.
The teeth look to be more rounded on the sides, unlike the diamond shape spacecase, any comments?
Lastly, is the kief production comparable?

EDIT: Nevermind the rounded teeth, they seem to be diamond as well.

There are tons of teeth, this thing is literally a gaping maw of shredders. You wont get any lil nugs getting past those things, thats for sure You can toss a huge nug in their, and wont have any problem grinding it to shreds.

As far as the kief collection, it works like a charm - take a look for yourself;

Nice Spiral! One thing I read is that the kief production is less being a smaller guage (?) screen. That pic pretty much disproves that.

What do you like least about it? Have you had a SpaceCase? The SpaceCase was the best smoking accessory I ever bought.

I have a grinder i think its an impersonation of space case, no marks except grassleaf.com written across the top. Even if it is fake it was cheaper and does a very nice job.

I just went to the local headshop and he was happy to demonstrate both for me. the space case has bigger teeth, but the mendo has more teeth and i like the way it feels in my hand. he said that the way the teeth are shaped means less keef sticks to them and thus less resin buildup. they're both pretty cool but the Mendo wins out this time. "conforms to the buds i place upon it" and sports a "gaping maw of shredding teeth"... truth as far as i can tell. can't wait to fill that pollen catcher and feast upon the fruits of my patience!
