If it doesnt affect anything, then you are right, its not a problem at all. I didnt know if it attracted kief, or got bud stuck under it...

But just to note, the SpaceCase has no downward curvature to "cover up" the grey ring as you can see in this picture...


Again, this apparently isnt a problem at all, just thought it was worth noting.

I didn't get my grinder free with my Vapor Warez. I bought it in Indiana at a place called Karma Records. I am pretty sure I said this in another post.

I have both the Mendo and a Space Case, both with kif catchers.

Both are well made and with either one you can't go wrong, albeit with the following caveat -

The SC results in a larger grind which in the case of most smoking vehicles works quite well.
The Mendo's grind is a bit finer, which for vaping (I use a Volcano), is much better.
I have no problems whatsoever with clogging, kif distribution or loss due to the Mendo's solid ring in which the screen is encased.

From time to time, and of course it depends on usage,
I break it down and clean all parts in alcohol.

Bottom line is that given that I both smoke and vape I have found myself using the Mendo all the time.
I really ought to donate my SCase to a worthy patient since it sits forlorn.

Here in California, genesis of Peace, Love and the sweetest pot (at least on the Mainland) we have many Mendos' available at our local Headshops.

And Buzz, the +- $49 bucks is what is here...

The free four-piece grinder that came with my VaporWarez has its holes drilled half a millimeter from the wall.

Today I finally located an unused soldering flux brush in my tool locker. It works great for cleaning the stuck stuff off the teeth and out of the holes. It only takes a few seconds, as opposed to a couple of minutes using my dental tool, and it does a better job. These brushes cost 19¢ at Home Depot, so I think I'll put off spending $70 on a large Mendo Mulcher.

So are you saying your free grinder is different (or at least the placement of the holes) than the one I posted?

I sold that one to a friend for 20 bucks this weekend, he was very appreciative.

Someone find me a MENDO MULCHER!

EDIT: OTHER than the ebay one, Id just get a SpaceCase at that price. Its nearing time, so I think Im probably gonna end up going with another SpaceCase. Did we ever get any good reviews on the trueblendz or sharpstone?

EDIT2: So Im trying to buy one online right now, still havent decided. The Sharpstone is only 20 friggin dollars shipped, what a deal man. Those lightning bolt shaped teeth worry me though...

I will try to get a picture of my own grinder up here as soon as I can. I need to upload a few pics, but have been really busy at the Veterinarian's almost everyday since last Thursday. I want to have a pic of my grinder here to compare it to Spiral's. Even though I paid for mine, and did not get it free with my Vapor Warez.
