| I wound up getting the biggest Mendo Mulcher as a result of the reports in this thread. I couldn't be happier with it. The biggest difference between it and the free grinder that came with my VaporWarez is that it doesn't get clogged up with resin when I grind sticky buds and almost everything falls through the holes. With my old grinder, I just accepted that as being a necessary part of the process. Every time I used it, I had to use a brush to get most of the ground bud out of the teeth. Every few days I'd take the grinder apart and clean the threads, the inner edge of the top, and the outer edge of the second section where it contacts the top. I used alcohol and q-tips to get the resin off and saved the alcohol for later recovery of the resin. I've been using the Mendo Mulcher for a couple of months and I'm just starting to see a build-up of resin on those surfaces and still not enough to interfere with operating the grinder. I've found that I get very little kief through the screen, even though my buds are covered with trichomes. This indicates to me that the old grinder was crushing the trichomes, releasing the resin inside, and breaking them off from the bud. The new one leaves them mostly intact and still attached to the bud. Inspection with a 10X magnifier confirmed this theory. I prefer to keep the potency in the bud rather than collecting kief, so this is great for me. I'd recommend the big Mendo Mulcher to anyone. It's a heavy-duty piece of equipment and looks like it might be a part of an automotive drive train. It should last forever. It has an industrial finish, just the way it comes off of the lathe, instead of the polished finish of most other brands. This makes it less susceptible to visible scratches. The threads are coarse compared to other grinders I've seen. This makes them more resistant to gumming up and cross-threading. It also means you don't have to turn the pieces so many times to screw and unscrew them.

| Nice dude, sounds like your enjoying it! I've had mine for some time now and it's still running fine, could use a cleaning though. Where did you manage to find one from Buzzby? Everything I have gathered is the company that made the Mendo Mulcher isn't operating anymore, I'm assuming an eBay vendor? I just would like to know for reference to others interested in this wonderful product. It really does rock. ![]() |

| AFAIK, it's just that one guy on eBay. I'm wondering if he bought up all of the company's inventory when they went out of business. |

| ADIDAS - Thanks for that review, it convinced me that the sharpstone was right for me. I've been using the free plastic one included with my Volcano, but I knew I needed an upgrade to a metal one. |

| All Mendo Mulchers on ebay are sold by one seller, who also has the only site I've seen lately where you can buy one online- mendomulcherwarehouse.com. Prices have gone up recently about $10, which is about what you'd save on ebay, if you're lucky. This brand is no longer cheaper than a Space Case. I can get a large (3.5") 4 piece Space Case from vapedaddy.com for $5 less than a 3", 4 piece Mendo from mendo warehouse. The Mendo still has a slight price edge over Space Case compared to dealers other than vapedaddy though.
