I ordered this grinder over the internet over a week ago, it'll arrive hopefully tomorrow. It was shipped from Amsterdam, and after shipping and handling it was 78$. I'm now seeing all sorts of other grinders being sold over the internet that seem of the same quality even purposively made by Grassleaf as well, but much much cheaper. I don't know about getting "ripped off". After all, you did order it, and order it from a reputable site.

Clearly, GrassCity is taking it's cut since they've planted their logo on it.
Unless there is a refund or exchange policy such that you can return it I'd say smile and be happy...

True, thx for the input. But its actually Grassleaf.com printed on it and not grasscity.com. But i think i can smile and be happy =) and in any case this can't be undone. I suppose that in many cases I you generally get what u pay for.

I wouldn't say so. If you don't do the research to find a product at it's best price, it's no fault but your own. Google has a shopping service, as do many other sites. You enter the name of the thing you want and you get a list of all the suppliers on the Internet who sell it. You can even sort the list by price.

A review of the TrueBlendz grinder I just bought (TrueBlendz Grinder 15)

I bought this grinder for $23.50 with free shipping so it is on the low end in terms of price for grinders.

Pros:
-choice of three anodized finishes (Black, Diamond or Silver)
-very smooth turning (no scratching sounds)
-no bud is too tough or sticky
-magnetic
-grinds quickly, efficiently, and you can load a lot
-the metal grinding parts are extremely sharp (don't seem like the will ever go dull unlike my old grinder)

Cons:
-no keif catcher

A local headshop? I know that since I live in PA we head to the shore for vacation and the shops on the boardwalk sell them in glass cases in plain view.

I got mine at a record store in Indiana called Karma records, but I know headshops carry them too.

Mendos cheap at mendomulcherwarehouse.com, way cheaper than ebay. owner must be back in business. you can get the 3" screen for like 60. can't beat that with a stick. i went with the 3" flat one this time...no catcher means a quicker mulch.

PLUS they've got a lifetime warranty, pretty much the ONLY grinder that's Made in the USA, and it's only competition quality-wise is the space case, which it is now significantly cheaper than. my friend recently got one at a concert and it had a guitar pick scraper

I worked at a headshop, and the fact is space case, true blenz, sharpstone and the notch are all distributed out of southern cali but Made in China. that should say it all.
