Ok thanks for answering. I never knew you could roll without a one though. Wouldn't the end get soggy? Not from slobber (lol) but from the normal amount of moisture in your mouth.

Exactly, but why wont you just take the weed out instead of burning extra paper that dont need to be burned, and put into your lungs......I mean im a roach smoker as well, i smoke them when i cant get a sack...or you can even open roachs take the weed out and put it in a bowl.....people that i smoke think im wierd b/c i do that, but they dont know that i will get high off of weed anyway i can possibly can, like kat william said "I like weed in all of its possible variations" LOL

I roll it into the joint as i roll it, but you could stick it in after too

i always use that stiffer paper that is always in magazines to send back a subscription for.... it a really good thickness for it...

Around here we just call em filters and i buy these king size clear papers that actually come with them.

I find it keeps the air flow going better and dosnt leave you with a what we call roach.

I've rolled like that a couple times but it seems too wierd to me to have a piece of paper stuck in the end of my joint. plus its a hassle... just roll it up n light.

i like the paper "crutch" it makes it easier to smoke with it so weed isnt in your mouth, and it almost acts as a lil filter.

just use a small bit of card from the rolling papers. Roll it up and place it at the end of the paper, then put your weed in the joint. Just roll the joint with the roach in the whole time. It's nearly impossible to stick it in after. I've been rolling joints / cigarettes like this for years. Just roll it up quite small but not tight, and just sit it right at the end of the paper and roll as normal. Too easy mate!!!!

I can't imagine having a joint without one.. Around here that's how they are all done. Wouldn't the weed slip through if you didn't have one? And you can't smoke a joint that far down anyway? And yeah wouldnt the paper close up around that point? I just don't understand a joint without it hahah!

roll the roach up at the same time your roll the weed. I use index card from my chemistry class

to me it just sounds like people are afraid of getting burnt. I think that burns just add to the experience of getting high. Its fun and it gives you something to laugh about. If I get burnt or whatever I just laugh at myself and make sure I roll a little better next time. Extra paper is for babies. But I don't smoke joints only blunts or bowl out of my 1 hitter. (tire pressure gauge)
