Default Need a reliable elecric grinder + pollen press!

Are electric grinders any better than manual ones? I want to grind my weed down to dust level!

Also, I want to get a small pollet press. Should I press pollen/kief only or can I super grind weed and press it too?

Is there a combo of electric grinder + pollen press?

The battery powered grinders SUCK! I had 2 of them I received free a while back, and they didn't grind very well. It was more of a novelty thing because it lit up too. I gave them away to my friends, and they don't even use them anymore.

What about coffee grinders? I need one anyway, and I figured they could be used with MJ...

I have never used one, personally, but I know of people who have. I don't see the point, personally. Why do you want to pulverize your herb so badly? Is there a specific reason? I'm just curious because I've never needed more than my stainless steel grinder, and I get excellent results everytime.

I need both...but if coffee grinder can do both then why spend extra on an additional grinder just for MJ?

Ok, your sentence confused me a bit. You need both what? An herb grinder and a coffee grinder? Then, you ask why an additional grinder for marijuana.

The reason I have my grinder is because I like it. I also like the fact that I have kief whenever I want it too.

Vicki, those electric grinders may have worked so badly because they were cheap, you said yourself you received them free.

The more expensive ones, may work nicely.

Maybe we can get someone in here who has used an electric grinder, because I've always been curious as to how those work myself, but have never used one.

I've seen quite a few of the battery powered electric grinders, and they were all junk. They did an ok job at grinding, but everyone that used them agreed they are more trouble than they are worth. Bud would always get stuck in the teeth, no matter the quality of the herb. The grinder would sometimes get stuck while grinding. A real pain in the ass.

I would love to hear feedback from someone here who has owned one.

My buddy has an electric (plug in, not battery) grinder. I think its actually a coffee grinder. It's just small, about 5-6" high. it works great, i'd recommend it to anyone.

If it's actually a coffee grinder, then it's not really an herb grinder. My own coffee grinder stands about 6 inches tall, but it's not an herb grinder. I used to use it to grind coffee, but I don't drink coffee anymore.
