So really to be honest i've never smoked out of any kind of paper but have always wanted to.

So i heard about gum wrappers and how they're bad for you because of the ink. But what about the paper around the gum wrapper (like from juicy fruit gum) Would that work?

Nahhh. That paper is super thick. Just cough up the dollar or two to buy a pack of papers. It's worth it.

I don't think that would be as bad as smoking wrapping paper, because I don't beleive it would have ink or anything in it but I doubt it would burn correctly but I do not know for sure. All my hook-ups always offer me papers or can get them very easily. If you are really desperate find somewhere where a lot of people are smoking, even cigarettes, for papers, almost every time I have asked someone at Taco Bell(smokers pit) they have them or can get me a few.

Absolutely do not do this. It is so bad for you. If you want to know how much this method is despised around here, use the search feature. I guarantee any thread you find about gum wrapper joints will tell you not to do this.

They contain toxic chemicals. Dont do it. Spend 2 dollars and get papers that are safe to smoke from.

If you can get weed, I'm a bit surprised you couldn't get rolling papers man. If you look 18+ most gas stations sell them try and find a fellow pothead, believe me gas station employees for the most part are very familiar with marijuana and buy a pack. I walked into the one down the street the dude had all kinds of hemp bracelets and a couple rasta necklaces and could tell that this would become a very good friend of mine.
