I'm looking into getting scale. Probably a no brainer, but just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which ones to consider or which ones to stay away from?

I don't really need one for MJ but the postage scale I've been using for work for many years needs to be replaced and I would like something small (compact) and figured I could kill two birds with one stone here (not that I enjoy killing birds, so BACK OFF P.E.T.A. ).

I have a Jennings digital scale I bought on ebay for less than $20.00, tax and shipping. I've had it for years, and it works great.

Do you need a postal scale to weigh packages or just letters? The reason that's important is that scales that accommodates several pounds won't have the fine resolution to weigh fractions of a gram. For weighing marijuana, you want scales accurate to at least 0.1 grams. Scales that can weigh several ounces will be accurate to that level. If you want accuracy to 0.01 grams, the maximum you can weigh at one time will be an ounce or two.

I have a scientific scale I nabbed from the lab at school. It's one of the ones that slides and such. accurate as hell, but expensive unless you steal it.

The best scales I ever owned were American Weigh Blade scales. I've had 2 or 3 sets, the first I gave to my boy, the otrher I lost, and my last one I stepped on accidentally.

I got an American Weigh CD-V2-300 scale that, from the exterior, looks identical to a CD case. I've had it roughly a year (was a freebie with my vape) and it works fine.
